Core ValuesPurpose The A. Fern Norville Center strives to be a calm and safe refuge in the chaotic storms of life. We strive to provide a home of love and stability for the battered, beaten, neglected, and abandoned children of our society. Goal Our Goal is to love, without prejudice, all children equally, without regard for race or cultural back ground. To minister to the inner hurt as well as the outer. To show in action as well as word, the love of a family that is bonded and guided by love. To make each child feel wanted and cherished. Generosity We commit to give unreservedly of our time, talent, and resources to each and every child that comes into our care. Helping each child feel whole and wanted. We strive to create a sense of value and worth in their self image. Service We must remember that we are servants to the trust of many who fund our labor of love. We should live as examples to the children in our care through action and word. We are here for the children. By modeling servitude we hope to train them for the future, hope to break the chain of abuse and violence in their lives. Growth We are committed to continuous growth in service and care of the many innocent victims of abuse and neglect. Looking for new ways to expand our services into the community in which we live. Hope We are dedicated to seeing the good in all things. To never let the overwhelming hurt, that we see daily, shake our faith in good. To give each child whose life we touch, hope for a new and better beginning. We hope to help each child build a new and stronger self image, showing them a path to happiness and fulfillment in life. |
